This week’s Torah portion is called Lech L’cha, which literally means “Go forth”. In it Abram and Sarai split from Abram’s father and begin to make their of way. Lots of things happen on the part of the journey in this Torah portion, including G-d making a covenant with Abram which ends with him becoming Abraham.
