Lech L’cha – In Your Journey, Look at What to Leave Behind

Sharing is good

This week’s Torah portion is called Lech L’cha, which literally means “Go forth”. In it Abram and Sarai split from Abram’s father and begin to make their of way. Lots of things happen on the part of the journey in this Torah portion, including G-d making a covenant with Abram which ends with him becoming Abraham. But in his Podcast “On the Other Hand: Ten Minutes of Torah”, Rabbi Rick Jacobs focuses on the start of the journey, what to take with us, and what to leave behind.

Shalom.
