Richmond native Andrew Alli has taken the Blues scene by storm, developing a rich style that belies his age. Influenced by harmonica greats Little Walter, Big Walter Horton, Sonny Boy Williamson II, and Junior Wells, he has traveled extensively and represented Richmond in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The Richmond Folk Festival has featured Andrew teaching harmonica lessons and performing. Josh Small, who is also a singer songwriter, is known as one of the best guitarists on the Richmond scene. Like Andrew, he has toured internationally and has developed a national following.
